Situated near Thirsk, between the North Yorkshire Moors and the stunning Yorkshire Dales, White Rose Holiday Park occupies a stellar location. There are loads of things to do in and around the park, from trips to the local theme parks through to sightseeing some of the important cultural landmarks. YORKSHIRE DALES NATIONAL PARK
The Yorkshire Dales is renowned for its natural beauty and attracts thousands of visitors every year.

NATIONAL RAILWAY MUSEUM
The national railway museum is one of the most comprehensive collections of railway memorabilia. Learn about the last 300 years of railway history as you admire the huge array of locomotives and artefacts on display. Situated only half an hour’s drive away from White Rose the National Railway Museum is well worth a visit or two.
LIGHTWATER VALLEY THEME PARK
Lightwater Valley theme park is situated approximately 25min drive away from White Rose. The park features over 30 different fairground rides and is particularly good for young children with over 11 designated ‘mini rides’. For a reduced admission price, book online before arrival.
Thirsk is a delightful market town with plenty of pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops. If you are interested in the cultural heritage of Thirsk be sure to visit the ‘World of James Herriot’ Museum, or if you enjoy wildlife head to the birds of prey conservation centre.
DUNCOMBE PARK GARDENS
These beautiful gardens are open to the public all year round. Much of the accompanying land is in fact a national nature reserve due to the presence of rare wildlife species. If you’re planning a visit do check in advance to make sure that the gardens are not closed for a private event.

Be prepared for anything as you embark on a series of challenges and decisions that will (hopefully) lead you to your journeys end. This attraction offers an entertaining day out for both adults and kids and is highly recommended.
